Oatmeal Cookies
Recipe from America’s Test Kitchen

Mix together:
1 ½ c Unbleached Flour
½ tsp Baking Powder
¼ tsp Freshly Grated Nutmeg
½ tsp salt

Mix together:
1 c Unsalted Butter – softened
1 c Brown Sugar
¾ c Sugar
2 Large Eggs

Combine wet and dry ingredients and then add:
3 c Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
1 ½ c Raisins

Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees.  Roll dough into 2″ balls and place 9 balls on parchment covered baking sheet.  Bake for 11 minutes and rotate sheets and bake for another 11 minutes.  Don’t over bake.

For smaller cookies, roll dough into 1″ balls and cut the baking time in half.
